Amazon Subscribe & Save: how to get up to 15% off everyday items
Updated October 29, 2026
How Amazon Subscribe & Save discounts work, how to reach the bigger discount, which items are worth subscribing to and how to skip or cancel anytime.
How Subscribe & Save works
Subscribe & Save lets you get eligible items delivered on a schedule you choose, from every two weeks to every six months, at a lower price than a one-time purchase. There is no fee and you can skip a delivery, change the date or cancel at any time.
The standard discount is typically 5%. When five or more subscriptions arrive at the same address in the same monthly delivery, many items get a larger discount, typically up to 15%. The exact discount is shown on each product page.
Stacking with coupons
Clip coupons often apply to the first Subscribe & Save order, on top of the subscription discount. That is why some of the best everyday deals we post are subscription deals: subscribe, get the low price, then skip or cancel if you do not need another delivery.
Note that the price on later deliveries can change. Amazon emails you before each delivery, so check the price in that email.
What is worth subscribing to
Things you use up at a steady pace: coffee and pods, paper towels and toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, diapers and wipes, pet food and litter, vitamins, razors and toothpaste.
Compare the unit price (per ounce, per count, per pound), not the package price. A bigger pack is not always cheaper per unit.
